GY Aviation Lease has approached Indian aviation regulator Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) for the deregistration of two more SpiceJet Boeing 737-8 aircraft. Most of the SpiceJet’s fleet is currently grounded due to different reasons. Many aircraft of the budget carrier are grounded due to various reasons. Recently, the airline’s three lessors, Wilmington Trust SP Services, Sabarmati Aviation Leasing and Falgu Aviation Leasing sought the deregistration of one aircraft each, according to a DGCA filing.
