Interpol issues arrest warrant for Interjet co-founder

Citing government sources, Reuters has reported that Interpol has at Mexico’s request issued an international arrest warrant for Miguel Aleman, co-founder of budget airline Interjet, on criminal tax fraud charges. Prosecutors has issued a national arrest warrant for Aleman, the grandson of a former president and the son of an ex-governor of Veracruz state. The airline has not commented on the news, and Aleman’s lawyer denied knowledge of why the warrant was issued. Aleman is reported to be living in Paris.
