An inspection door has fallen off a 757 passenger aircraft plane travelling from New York to Copenhagen. The aircraft was heading for Copenhagen Airport when the door fell over the western Zealand town of Stigs Bjergby at a height of 3,000 metres. There have been no reported injuries. The Accident Investigation Board for Civil Aviation, said that it could not explain how it happened but that the door was “pulled out of its hinges”. The Accident Investigation Board is now calling on area residents to contact the police if they see a door matching the above description.
