Global logistics business GEODIS has been given the International Air Transport Association’s Center of Excellence for Independent Validators in Pharmaceutical Logistics (IATA CEIV Pharma) certification, meaning it will be able to strengthen its air freight temperature-controlled pharma shipment capabilities across the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions. The certification “covers multiple locations” at airports in China, Indonesia, India, South Korea, Thailand ,United Arab Emirates and Singapore and will “support GEODIS’ strategic goals of establishing pharma healthcare as a key organisational vertical and expanding its global network by accrediting sites in numerous countries throughout the APAC region”.
