flydubai has formally requested a codeshare agreement with United Airlines. The application is currently awaiting an approval from the US Department of Transportation (DOT). The proposed codeshare agreement would initially cover 20 routes across the Middle East from flydubai’s hub at Dubai International Airport (DXB), including Amman (AMM), Dammam (DMM), Medina (MED), and Muscat (MCT). Just recently flydubai expanded its operations across Saudi Arabia to over 16 destinations, which will form a part of the codeshare.
