Air Senegal is planning to commence its Washington route via New York with twice weekly flights starting September 2, becoming the only African company to operate regular direct flights connecting US and Senegal. The airline will deploy its A330 on the route with a capacity of 290 passengers, including 32 seats in business, 21 in premium and 237 in economy class. This flight will expand the destinations served by Air Senegal to Ziguinchor, Cap Skirring, Banjul, Conakry, Praia, Abidjan, Nouakchott, Bamako Cotonou, Douala, Libreville, Casablanca and more.
