Federal Aviation Administration has issued ground stops at both airports in Chicago as severe storm circulations in the vicinity of the airports makes news. Several flights have been delayed or canceled in the city, and passengers have also been forced to take shelter in the terminal buildings. Services at Chicago O’Hare and Chicago Midway International Airport have been affected due to severe weather in the area. The National Weather Service had alerted to the possibility of disruptive thunderstorms as a tornado was seen touching the ground on and off near the airport.
