Egypt applies new tax on departing flights

Egypt has increased a tax on all flights leaving the country, which is being passed onto passengers. The tax on business class tickets has increased by a third to reach 400 Egyptian pounds (US$51), while the tax on economy tickets increased by half to reach 150 Egyptian pounds (US$19).
