French financial regulator the Autorite des Marches Financiers has fined aerospace-services company GECI Aviation and a company board member for publishing misleading information and trading on insider information. GECI was fined €50,000 euros ($67,800) while the board member was fined €20,000 euros. The fine refers to the disclosure of information about GECI’s purchase of a majority stake in Reims Aviation Industries in 2008.
