Michael Niggemann, chief financial officer of SWISS, has been appointed to the executive board of the Lufthansa Group. Niggemann will succeed Bettina Volkens as chief officer corporate human resources & legal affairs. He takes up his new duties at the beginning of January 2020. SWISS CEO Thomas Klühr said: “I am delighted for Michael at his appointment to the Lufthansa Group executive board. “I offer him my sincere thanks for all his work and commitment for SWISS.
