Pilots to picket FedEx’s air ops hub
FedEx pilots are to picket their employer’s air operations centre in Memphis on May 24. According to the Air Line Pilots Association, Int’l (ALPA), the pilots’ one-hour picket will be to “demonstrate their collective resolve and continued frustration with the lack of a new collective bargaining agreement”. The protest is to come in the wake of FedEx pilots’recent vote in favour of going on strike, if deemed necessary and permissible by law.
