Southwest Airlines has promoted its vice president technology, cybersecurity Carrie Mills to vice president & chief information security officer – cybersecurity. She will be responsible for all aspects of cybersecurity across the airline’s aircraft, airports, and facilities. Mills joined Southwest in 2017 as the senior manager of cybersecurity threat intelligence and response. With this shift in responsibility, vice president & CISO technology – platforms & architecture Jim Dayton’s role has changed to vice president technology – platforms & architecture. In this role, Dayton will be responsible for building out modern foundational data and technology platforms used and leveraged by development
