Boeing names sixth communications head since 2017

Boeing has appointed Ed Dandridge as senior VP and communications officer, effective from September 28. He succeeds Greg Smith, who has served as interim chief communications officer since July alongside his regular duties as CFO. Dandridge joins Boeing from AIG, where he was global chief marketing and communications officer since April 2018. Niel Golightly, Anne Toulouse and Phil Musser all held the post after long serving communications chief Tom Downey retired in 2017; Golightly left in July following an employee over an article he wrote 33 years ago arguing that women should not serve in combat.
