Bamboo Airways chairman Le Thai Sam has resigned as a director of FLC Group. Sam had joined the FLC board in July last year when the company was going through major leadership changes. He is also a creditor to the company, having loaned the airline VND620 billion. In May 2023, FLC agreed to transfer its over 400 million shares in Bamboo Airways to Sam, and said it had completely separated from the airline. Sam now owns more than 50% of Bamboo Airways. He became its chairman in early July 2023 in place of Oshima Hideki.
