Reuters is reporting that Airbus will name sales chief Christian Scherer as the head of its planemaking business. Airbus has not confirmed the rumours. The European airframe manufacturing has been deciding on a new head of commercial aircraft for some time, which will enable CEO Guillaume Faury to focus more on strategy.
