Air Wisconsin Airlines hires new president and CEO

Air Wisconsin Airlines has appointed Christine Deister as president and chief executive officer, effective immediately. Deister most recently was chief commercial officer for the airline and before that held the position of chief financial officer and treasurer. She joined the company in 2004. Before joining Air Wisconsin, she was the executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer for four years at Hawaiian Airlines in Honolulu, following a long career at Trans World Airlines, where she last held the position of senior vice president of finance and treasurer.
