Dynamatic Technologies to manufacture A220 doors

Airbus has awarded a contract for the manufacturing and assembly of its A220 family aircraft doors to Belngaluru-based Dynamatic Technologies, in a deal representing one of the largest aerospace export contracts to India. The sub-contractor already manufacturers the flap track beam of the A220 and A320 family aircraft as well as the cockpit escape hatch door of the A220. The contract, which will increase capacity for Airbus’ A220 programme, will see Dynamatic manufacture and assemble the cargo, passenger, service and over-wing emergency exit doors for the A220 family aircraft (a total of eight doors per aircraft).
