American Airlines signs A320ceo retrofit agreement with Airbus

American Airlines has signed what it terms a ‘sizeable’ agreement with Airbus for its 150-strong A320ceo family of aircraft, encompassing multiple avionics systems and airframe upgrades. “These retrofits support the airline’s modernization and simplification of its fleet through avionics and systems upgrades, which in turn provide even greater operational excellence,” explained Antoine Morel, vice president and head of airframe services for Airbus.
