The woes for SpiceJet are not over yet with an insolvency case against the airline due for hearing at the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) next week. In the meantime, lessor Aircastle has filed an insolvency plea against SpiceJet to be heard by the NCLT principal bench today. A SpiceJet spokesperson said: “At present, there are no aircraft from this lessor in the airline’s fleet. The development will in no way affect its operations.
