Nordic Aviation Capital executes purchase agreement for two powerplants

Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) has executed a purchase agreement for one LEAP-1B and one CFM56-5B engine with SMBC Aero Engine Lease. The LEAP-1B (the exclusive powerplant for the 737 MAX)  is on lease to UK-based TUI, which features 21 of the type in its fleet. The CFM56-5B – which can be fitted to the A320 and 737 platforms – is on lease to Philippine carrier Cebu Pacific, which took delivery of its first A321neo in 2019.
