The largest independent lessor in China, the China Aircraft Leasing Group (CALC) has taken delivery of two A320neos, which were leased to Air India on 30 November and 6 December 2023. The newly-privatised Air India took delivery of its first A320neo in October 2023, the first of nine on lease from CALC. The remainder of the order are expected to be delivered throughout 2024. French multinational bank and financial services company BNP Paribas closed the deal, acting as arranger, facility agent, security trustee and sole lender. Clifford Chance acted as lender counsel, and Watson Farley & Williams acted as borrower
