Global aviation finance company Avolon has received approval from Bohai Leasing Co, Avolon’s 70% shareholder, for 140 aircraft it has on order; making deals with Boeing and Airbus now unconditional. First announced in December 2023, an order of 100 A220neo and 40 737 MAX aircraft (scheduled for delivery until 2032) built on previous deals for 20 Airbus and 40 Boeing types signed in 2023; taking Avolon’s total owned, managed and committed fleet to 1037 aircraft as of September 2023.
