Aviation has closed an A321-200 sale and leaseback with VietJet on a long term operating lease. This is the second such transaction between the two and brings the Aviation fleet to 39. Crédit Agricole CIB arranged the senior secured commercial financing of the aircraft (MSN 7241), which acted as mandated lead arranger, facility agent, security trustee and senior lender. Investec Bank acted as junior lender. CACIB was advised by Clifford Chance, Investec by King & Wood Mallesons and Aviation was advised by Holman Fenwick Willan.
