AMS Aircraft Services touts ‘busy’ 2022 and welcomes new chief exec

AMS Aircraft Services, the UK-based aircraft marketing and technical service subsidiary of EastMerchant Capital, says it it was busy remarketing aircraft, conducting appraisals, inspecting aircraft and managing the acquisition, return and storage maintenance of leased aircraft during 2022. Highlights included the acquisition of two Boeing 747-400F freighters and the purchase and sale of two Boeing 737NGs. The company said it is remarketing two Airbus A330-300s, two A319-100s and an A380 on behalf of their owners. A managing director, Simon McLean, joined the business ahead of founder Mike Skinner’s imminent retirement at the end of January 2023.
