volofin and Zephyrus arrange funding for Wizz and Volaris aircraft

Zephyrus Aviation Capital and volofin Capital Management said on December 7 they had successfully closed financing for two A320 aircraft operated by Wizz Air and Volaris. volofin acted as sole structuring agent and arranger with volofin acting as facility agent and security trustee. Richard Genge, director, fleet strategy at Zephyrus, said the “established transaction procedures” between the two financier companies helped with a “smooth and efficient closing” of the deal, which saw Vedder Price acting as lead counsel for volofin, and Norton Rose Fulbright as lead acquisition counsel for Zephyrus.
