Dniproavia Airlines is poised to acquire a 61.58% stake in Ukraine International Airlines for UAH 516.841 million (approximately $64.8 million). Serhiy Tkachenko, the chairman of the Dniproavia, made the comments in an open letter to Oleksandr Riabchenko, chair of the State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPF), where he called for an open auction for the sale of the stake. “We’re ready to pay UAH 516.841 million for the stake, and believe that this is a fair price, which is confirmed by famous independent experts and assessors.
