Bombardier has said that its commercial aircraft unit posted a second-quarter profit before interest and taxes of $226 million, a giant swing upwards from the $668 million loss in the same period last year. The group’s business aircraft division posted a profit of $84 million in the second quarter, down 22% from $108 million year-over-year.
