Aircastle has announced that the company’s board of directors has increased the authorisation to repurchase up to $100 million of the company’s common shares. These would be from the $76 million that was remaining under the existing authorisation. Since 2011, the company has repurchased 18.5 million shares at an average cost of $14.57 per share. Under the program, Aircastle may purchase its common shares from time to time in the open market or in privately negotiated transactions.
