Media reports suggest that China Eastern Airlines has filed a claim with Boeing over losses incurred from the grounding of its Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft. It’s said that China Eastern Airlines claim covers the revenue loss from the grounding and delayed delivery of the aircraft. It does not state how much the airline is wanting, a report by Sina. This would be the first claim by any airline made towards Boeing since the worldwide grounding of its 737 Max aircraft, which has been grounded by China Eastern since March 11.
