Saudi Arabia new airline Riyadh Air, set to begin operations next year, has joined the corporate sustainability initiative the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC). The airline aims to incorporate the United Nations’ sustainability goals across its operations. As part of the UNGC, Riyadh Air will adopt sustainable and socially responsible policies in areas such as anti-corruption, environment, human rights, and labour. It will also regularly report on its progress in these areas. The UNGC was launched in 2000.
