MIAT Mongolia to take delivery of its first B787-9 this week

MIAT Mongolian Airlines is all set to take delivery of its first Boeing 787-9 this week, on a lease from AerCap. The first 787-9 will arrive in Ulaanbaatar on 10 August with a second to be delivered in Q1 of 2024. The aircraft has 292 seats – 30 business, 36 premium economy and 226 economy seats. The airline plans to deploy the aircraft on Frankfurt, Istanbul and Seoul routes with gradual expansion in the US market.
