LanzaJet has received an investment from Microsoft’s Climate Innovation Fund, enabling the sustainable fuel producer and technology company to ‘continue building its capability and capacity to deploy its sustainable fuels process technology globally,’ as the two parties also intend to explore potential applications for Microsoft’s AI capabilities. The latest investment follows a $50 million project finance investment from Microsoft’s Climate Innovation Fund in 2022, which supported the construction of LanzaJet’s inaugural ethanol-to-SAF (sustainable aviation fuel) plant.
