Korean Air has partnered with GS Caltex, South Korea’s major oil refiner to create infrastructure for demonstration and commercialization of bio aviation fuel. As a part of the agreement, GS Caltex plans to supply Korean Air with bio jet fuel for testing and demonstrations. The two companies will also collaborate to create infrastructure and environment for the rapid commercialization of SAF targeting the global market projected to reach $696.2 billion by 2030.
