The cargo division of International Airline Group (IAG Cargo) has partnered with Kuehne+Nagel to purchase six million litres of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) to help its customers reduce the Scope3 carbon footprint of their supply chain. The SAF is verified by International Sustainability & Carbon Certification, produced from cooking oil and food waste and will reduce CO2 Emissions by 15,000 tonnes over the lifecycle of the fuel.
