FRA reports a slight rise in passenger growth for January

Frankfurt Airport (FRA) has reported a 1.3% rise in passenger traffic during the month of January 2015. Germany’s largest aviation hub served more than 4 million passengers thanks to the increase in intercontinental traffic. Despite the rise in passenger traffic, aircraft movements at FRA fell 2.6% to 34,611 takeoffs and landings. In contrast, accumulated maximum takeoff weights (MTOWs) climbed by 2.6% to about 2.2 million metric tons.
