Air China recently used made-in-China green fuel for a commercial flight from Hangzhou to Beijing on an Airbus A350. The successful test flight was conducted using a 10% of Sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) from a domestic supplier, Sinopec. This flight was China’s first commercial flight with domestic SAF carried on a widebody aircraft. The passengers on the flight received an environment-friendly notebook made of stones and a signature pen made of recycled bottles. The onboard cutlery was also recyclable.
