In its newly-released global air cargo outlook, Boeing is forecasting that air cargo traffic will double by 2041. According to the jet manufacturer’s 2022 World Air Cargo Forecast, the global freighter fleet will expand by over 60% over the two decades, with “strong demand for new production” as well as converted freighters.
