Lufthansa Cargo begins weekly cargo flights from Norway to Frankfurt

Lufthansa Cargo has introduced a weekly A321 freighter service from Evenes Airport (EVE) in Norway to Frankfrut, providing Norway’s fresh produce directly to the Frankfurt hub and from there on to numerous destinations within Lufthansa’s international network. The project is a joint venture between Norwegian salmon producer and exporter Nordlaks, the freight forwarder Salmosped. Eirik Nikolaisen, Chief Commercial Officer Nordlaks, said: “Efficient logistics is key. Customers in Asia expect to receive fresh products of high quality.
