Lufthansa Cargo appoints former Latam VP to key China role

Lufthansa Cargo’s Carsten Hernig, who was previously vice president region Latin America & Caribbean, has moved to the role of deputy general manager and vice president production, sales and marketing at Shanghai Pudong International Airport Cargo Terminal Co. Ltd (PACTL). The appointment has been in effect since October 2022, Lufthansa Cargo said, with Hernig since then responsible for production, sales and marketing at the joint venture between Lufthansa Cargo and Shanghai Pudong Airport. “I am very pleased that we are welcoming Carsten Hernig, an experienced Lufthansa employee, to this important interface,” said Dietmar Focke, chief operations officer and chief HR
