GE Aerospace and Cargolux have agreed a “long-term” support deal for the manufacturer’s GE9X engine in Cargolux’s new fleet of Boeing 777-8 freighters. The agreement, GE said, includes a “multi-year GE TrueChoice service agreement” and two spare engines. GE described the engine as “the most powerful commercial aircraft engine in history and the quietest GE Aerospace engine ever produced”. “Cargolux is committed to investing in fuel-efficient engines that emit significantly less CO2,” said Richard Forson, Cargolux president and chief executive. “We are proud that Cargolux continues to choose GE Aerospace to power its modern, highly-efficient cargo fleet,” said Russell Stokes,
