Atlas Air 747-8 makes emergency landing after engine malfunction

An Atlas Air Boeing 747-8 cargo plane with crew members onboard made an emergency landing at Miami International Airport after the GEnx-2B engine faced a malfunction shortly after departure, reports Reuters. Unverified footage on X (formally known as Twitter) showed flames shooting out of the left wing of the aircraft mid-flight. Reuters reported that there were no injuries and the aircraft managed to return safely. The US Federal Aviation Administration will reportedly investigate the incident.
