AEI announces order for two additional MD-80SF Series Conversions for Aeronaves

Aeronautical Engineers, Inc. (AEI) has signed a contract to provide Mexico-based Aeronaves T.S.M (TSM) with two additional MD-83SF freighter conversions. The first MD-83 aircraft (MSN 53288) will commence modification in the beginning of June and will be re-delivered to TSM in September 2017.  Commercial Jet’s Miami, Florida facility will perform the modification and maintenance requirements on the first aircraft. The second MD-83 (MSN 53289) will commence modification on June 26th and will be re-delivered to TSM in October 2017.
