Wizz Air grows passenger numbers by 30% in April 2017

Wizz Air carried 2,318,770 passengers in April 2017 – an increase of 30.5% compared to April 2016. During the month capacity rose by 25.3% to offer 2,573,530 seats. Load factor rose by 33.3 percentage points to 90.1% for April 2017. In the 12 months to the end of April 2017, Wizz Air carried 20.2% more passengers that the year before, serving 24,305,955 customers, on a back of a 17.3% rise in capacity to 26,897,830 seats. Load factor over the 12 months rose by 2.2 percentage points to 90.4%.
