Wizz Air carried 2.48 million passengers in March

In March 2022, Wizz Air carried 2,476,105 passengers, representing a 416% increase compared to March 2021, at a load factor of 86.2%. Also in March, Wizz Air announced that it will continue the expansion of its operations in Romania, adding a new aircraft to its base in Bucharest and one aircraft to its base in Cluj-Napoca. Two Airbus A321 aircraft will join the respective bases from July and August of this year.
