WestJet has expanded its codeshare agreement with Japan Airlines, thereby adding WS code on Japan Airlines-operated flights between Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and Narita International Airport (NRT) in Tokyo, Japan. With this, passengers will now be able to purchase tickets to Tokyo via Vancouver across WestJet’s domestic network. John Weatherill, WestJet’s Chief Commercial Officer, said: “As transpacific air travel increases between Canada and Japan, this is an ideal time to launch this new step in our cooperation with Japan Airlines.
