Virgin Australia has increased its order of 737 MAX-8s by an additional six airframes, bringing its total MAX-8 order to 14. The six new aircraft are scheduled for delivery in the second half of 2024 with the latest example, designated ‘Bronte Beach’, set to arrive in the airline’s home city of Brisbane. The outstanding 11 MAX-8 aircraft will arrive throughout 2024, equating to almost one delivery a month for the entirety of the year.
