VietJet has commenced the first-ever direct services connecting Ho Chi Min City to Perth and Adelaide, making it the first Vietnamese carrier to fly to south and western Australia. The two new routes represent an expansion of VietJet’s services into Australia, with weekly flights to the country more than doubling to 58 a week this December. Since entering the Australian market less than a year ago in April 2023, VietJet currently flies to five key Australian cities, including Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney.
