The US-Bangla Airlines has secured two Airbus A330s as a part of its plan to increase international capacity. The airline plans on using the newly acquired A330s to connect Dhaka with destinations like Jeddah, Riyadh, and Dammam of Saudi Arabia. This is the airline’ first widebody jets with a configuration of 436 seats. The US-Bangla Airlines plans to operate flights to various destinations in Saudi Arabia to meet the expectations of Bangladeshi Hajj and Umrah pilgrims, and expatriate workers. “Passengers travel to various destinations in Saudi Arabia through third carriers from Bangladesh, spending extra fares and extra time in transit.
