Uganda Airlines to commence direct Mumbai-Entebbe flights

Uganda Airlines is all set to launch direct flights connecting Mumbai, India and Entebbe, Uganda starting October 7, 2023. The airline will deploy its A330-800 on the thrice weekly route operated every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. The Mumbai-Entebbe is airline’s second international route after Dubai, which was launched in 2022. Apart from reducing the flight time the new flights are expected to boost trade, tourism, and cultural ties between Uganda and India. The airline expects strong demand on this route as there is a large Indian community in Uganda and there is growing interest in Uganda as a tourist destination.
