TransNusa recently began a 100-hour flight training campaign with COMAC’s ARJ21-700 regional jet. TransNusa is the first international customer of ARJ21-700. TransNusa took delivery of the first ARJ21-700 aircraft last December. The aircraft has 95-seats in a single class. The airline has 30 aircraft on order which will be delivered by COMAC till 2026. The aircraft are leased by China Aircraft Leasing Group (CALC). TransNusa currently has two Airbus A320 jets and one A320neo in its fleet. The acquisition of the ARJ21s will reinforce TransNusa’s network and aid the airline in expanding overseas capacity.
